AMY CHEWINS - CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST - JOHANNESBURG

WELCOME

Starting therapy can feel daunting. It may come at a point where something feels difficult to carry. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or not quite yourself, whether you can name it clearly or not. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.

You’re welcome to explore the site and get a sense of how I work, and whether this feels like the right fit for you.

Amy Chewins, Clinical Psychologist in Johannesburg

ABOUT

A space to think, feel and make sense of things.

I’m Amy Chewins, a Clinical Psychologist in Johannesburg, working with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of psychological difficulties, such as anxiety, low mood, trauma, relationships and things that feel harder to name.

My approach focuses on the patterns and emotional processes underlying what you're going through, not just the symptoms on the surface. Therapy becomes a space to reflect, make sense of things, and gradually shift what feels stuck or hard to reach on your own.
